According to Payscale, the average salary of a biomedical engineer is £28,977 (INR 28.97 lakh) per year. There are lucrative jobs at the National Health Service (NHS), which have salaries varying between £24,907-30,615 (INR 24.9-30.6 lakh approximately) per year while salaries go up to £31,365-37,890 (INR 31.36 lakh to INR 37.89 lakh) in higher bands as per reports.
