Designed for technically skilled graduates with a background in some of the basic aspects of IT management, the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management will supplement and extend your practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

You will be able to study a selection of postgraduate subjects covering a core set of IT management topics. You will also have the opportunity to select from a number of elective topics to expand your studies in related areas. You may undertake this course full time over one year or part time over two years.

The graduate diploma builds on the foundation of the graduate certificate. You may count coursework undertaken in this graduate diploma towards the requirements for the Master of Information Technology Management.

The Master of Business Information Systems is a postgraduate degree that prepares you for careers in business-focused IT areas such as IT management, project management, business information systems, information management or knowledge management. The degree covers the business IT spectrum from supporting business operations through to supporting managers' decision making. It prepares you for roles such as business analyst, systems analyst, project leader, IT manager, as well as information manager, archivist or librarian. The course requires completion of a set of advanced preparatory information technology units followed by further specialist units in business information systems and either a minor-thesis research project or an industry experience project.
