The Silesian University of Technology offers a vibrant student community. It offers on-campus housing to over 3000 students and has 13 student houses, 11 in Gliwice and one each in Katowice and Zabrze.

Pro-Quality Scholarship for Best International Students:
Bachelor’s or master’s students starting a full-time course at the university are awarded this scholarship in the first semester under the Excellence Initiative-Research University program.
Applicants should have paid the tuition fee for the first semester and must be the best students in their class to avail of this scholarship. Selected candidates receive a scholarship worth PLN21,000 in three installments, disbursed after completing each successful examination at the university.
Rector’s Scholarship:
The Rector’s Scholarship is granted to meritorious students with excellent academic scores(GPA of 4.0) and impressive accomplishments in sports and arts. The deadline for applying for this scholarship is the 1st to 10th of March for summer semester students and October for winter semester students.
NAWA Scholarship:
The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange provides several scholarships to encourage international students to pursue studies in Poland, such as the Banach Scholarship Programme, which covers master’s studies in the fields of natural sciences, engineering and technology, agricultural sciences, humanities, and social sciences except language studies.
