A passport is required to appear for the IELTS examination if the student is appearing for the examination in their own home country of which they are citizens. What are the Requirements of the IELTS Examination (From Applying to Examination Centre)

• At registration, bring identification (National Identity Card). A passport is required for IELTS.
• Any changes to your identity document must be reported to the testing center prior to the test date.
• On the day of the test, bring the same proof of identity listed in your application.
• Arrive at the test center at least 15 minutes before the scheduled test time.
