advantages of plastic containers

Are you planning on giving the IELTS exam? The exam can pose challenges for people from countries where English is not a native language. And that list includes India as well.

The biggest issue faced by most Indians in the exam is attempting an essay in the writing section. Therefore, we have two sample essays on ‘Advantages of Plastic Containers’.

Advantages of Plastic Containers: Sample 1

Plastic containers have been a constant during our growing up years, accompanying us to our school and on trips. Plastic containers truly were irreplaceable at a point in time. Although, these days, with the knowledge of their adverse effects – many people believe it is best to avoid them.

However, here I will mainly talk about the pros of using plastic containers and how they have great benefits over other types of containers. Let us first understand what these plastic containers are! These packaging materials mainly consist of plastic in their build and are used to keep several solid and different liquids. Additionally, plastic containers have many uses in the pharmaceutical industry.

The advantage of these plastic containers is that they are not breakable, so you can use them for longer periods. Their durability is one of the top reasons they have been chosen repeatedly for transferring materials. Furthermore, these plastic containers are relatively lightweight, so you will not have a tough time carrying them from one place to another. This makes them an excellent fit for travel purposes or for the transport of certain chemicals that can otherwise be toxic.

You will also enjoy the fact plastic containers are very cheap to manufacture, so not a lot of money will be spent on making them. That also means you can buy plastic containers for cheap and use them for very long!

Advantages of Plastic Containers: Sample 2

Plastic containers are commonly used in homes and industries. They are cheap to make and even cheaper to buy, making them a hit among the public. But many citizens don't realize that these plastic containers poison the atmosphere, the environment, and humans.

There are specific positives of using plastic containers like they are easy to produce and don't cause a hole in your pocket like metal containers. These containers made from plastic are also chemically inert and thus, do not rust. Such tendencies make them very strong and resistant. But, apart from these positives here and there, there is a world of negatives in putting plastic containers to use.

I don't see any significant advantage in a product that will eventually harm human life and bring the apocalypse. Many scientists say that if plastic use is not reduced in the coming times, most of the flora and fauna that use plastic-infected water will be affected. Since we also eat this flora and fauna, we are directly impacted by the dangers of plastic.

These plastic containers also have very poor physical stability because of absorption and the interactions between the container and formulation. Another negative is that plastic containers have meager heat resistance, so even if you are traveling and the temperature shoots up, there lies a chance for the plastic container to melt. Not a pretty picture, I must say.
