Eligibility for Pursuing Master’s in Sweden:

The eligibility criteria for pursuing a Master's degree in Sweden vary depending on the university and the program. Some courses may also require work experience or a specific skill set.

1. Bachelor’s degree from an internationally recognized university.

2.Ability to prove English language proficiency. For the purpose, An overall IELTS score of 6.5, with no section lower than 5.5 is accepted. For TOEFL, score of 20 in the written test, and a total score of 90.

3. More programme-specific entry requirements may include scores for some standardised tests. 

Admission Cycle/Intake for Master’s in Sweden:

International students can apply to two admission rounds per semester. It's recommended that all international students apply for the First admission round, which has a mid-January and mid-August deadline for the autumn and spring semesters, respectively. This round is solely for international students, offers all courses and programs taught in English, and provides ample time to plan your relocation to Sweden. The Second admission round is the regular admission round for students residing in Sweden & the EU, with courses and programs taught in Swedish. However, some universities may have English-taught courses and programs available during this round if vacancies remain after the First round. 

Applicants for Master's programs starting in the autumn semester can apply for scholarships offered by the Swedish Institute and Swedish universities. However, no scholarships are available for those beginning their studies in the spring semester.
