Introduction: India is a land of many rivers and lakes. A plethora of large and small rivers traverse its geographical area. Bodies of water are critical to our survival. I'd like to shed some light on an important and magnificent lake in my country.

What kind of river or lake is that: Pangong Lake, located in Leh, Ladakh, is known as the world's highest saltwater lake, with a height of nearly 4,350 meters. The lake is commonly referred to as "Pangong Tso," a Tibetan term that translates to "high grassland lake." 

How did you find out about it: My elder brother first told me about Pangong Lake, and I was fortunate enough to visit it last week. It was an unforgettable experience to sit on the shore of this breathtaking lake.

What makes it so appealing to you: The lake's blue waters contrast beautifully with the rugged, barren mountains that surround it, creating a breathtaking view. Because the snow melts in June, we were able to enjoy the destination in its entirety.

Introduction: The lake near my village is among India's many stunning natural features, and the country is home to many more incredible natural treasures as well. The lake is a well-liked attraction for both locals and tourists and is located on the outskirts of my town.

What kind of river or lake is that: The lake was made artificially by constructing a dam across a nearby river. It has a depth of roughly 15 meters and covers an area of about 20 hectares. The lake is surrounded by luxuriant vegetation, and the water is perfectly clean.

How did you find out about it: I've spent my entire life in this town, and the lake has always been a notable landmark. I remember going to the lake as a kid with my family for picnics and boats. 

What makes it so appealing to you: My mind and soul are refreshed by the sight of the tranquil waters and the soft wind. I've spent a lot of time photographing the natural beauty of the surroundings. Additionally, the lake offers local fishermen a means of subsistence.
