The IELTS speaking test is divided into three sections: an introduction, a cue card, and a follow-up discussion. Candidates are assigned a topic to discuss for two minutes during the cue card segment. It is critical to do well on the IELTS exam because it is required for school, work, and immigration in many English-speaking countries. 

Describe a gorgeous object for this cue card. You should describe the thing, how you discovered it, why you find it lovely, and why it is meaningful to you. You will have one minute to prepare your response and should talk for two minutes.

Suggested Order Of the Topic 

Follow the below mentioned suggestion in order to give a more appealing answer .

I. Description of the object  - Introduce the object (e.g., a handcrafted wooden jewelry box).

II. Reasons for finding the object beautiful - Describe the features that make the object beautiful (e.g., intricate carvings, warm color).

Iii. Conclusion  - Summarize the main points made in your response.

Sample Answer 1:

Description of the object : The object that I find particularly lovely is a vintage compass that was passed down to me by my grandfather. It's a basic, yet elegant device with a lot of sentimental meaning. I initially came upon this compass in high school. My grandfather had shown it to me and told me stories of his youth, when he used the compass throughout his trips. 

Reasons for admiring the object: The compass is a work of art, with its polished brass housing and glass front that protects the delicate dial inside. It includes exquisite elements that are only visible upon close study, such as the arrow pointer, which is delicately etched with North, South, East, and West directions. Furthermore, this thing bears enormous sentimental importance for me. It reminds me of my grandfather and the teachings he taught me about life, travel, and discovering new things. He was an inspiration to me, and the compass reflects his love of adventure, travel, and self-discovery. 

Conclusion ; Finally, the vintage compass is an instrument that I find particularly appealing due to its graceful design and sentimental worth. I am grateful for this family relic, which reminds me of the things my grandfather taught me. Such artefacts, in my opinion, have enormous significance and are a mirror of the people and stories they signify.

Description of the object: The object that I find particularly lovely is a Claude Monet picture titled "Water Lilies." I initially saw this picture in a gallery and was immediately taken to its beauty and tranquilly. The picture depicts a tranquil pond filled with water lilies and is one of a sequence of works by Monet. 

Reasons for finding the object beautiful: The picture is a work of art, with brilliant colours and intricate brushstrokes that bring the landscape to life. The delicate tones of blue, green, and pink create a sense of tranquilly and serenity that can take anyone to a quiet and tranquil frame of mind. Furthermore, the painting holds personal value for me because it depicts my love of nature and my admiration for artists who can capture its beauty on canvas. 

Conclusion: Finally, the artwork "Water Lilies" by Claude Monet is an object that I find very lovely. It is a testimonial to the artist's skill as well as a representation of the beauty that exists in nature. It has particular meaning for me and reminds me of the necessity of seeking moments of peace and tranquilly in our hectic lives.

A3. Technology has influenced our idea of beauty by offering new tools and techniques that allow artists to create more complex and elaborate creations. Digital tools, for example, have transformed the art industry, enabling artists to produce works that were previously impossible. However, technology has also established a new standard of beauty that may not always accord with conventional conceptions of beauty. For example, social media sites frequently promote unrealistic beauty standards, which might put pressure on individuals to conform to those regulations.
