Data Insights (DI) (20 Questions)

  • Introduced in the GMAT Focus format, this section assesses your ability to analyze and interpret data in a business context.
  • Emphasizes digital and data literacy skills.

Guidelines to Follow When Appearing for GMAT Focus Edition

There are some things worth considering before you appear for the GMAT test. Go through the checklist and the security measures provided below:

Pre-Test Checklist

  1. Confirm your details about your appointment date, time, and location through your ‘my account’ page.’
  2. Refer to exam policies online to avoid any rule violation.
  3. Be familiar with the routes of your test center location in order to avoid last-minute delays.
  4. Plan to reach the test center 30 minutes before the appointment time.
  5. Carry your valid government-issued ID proof.

Security Measures

Students appearing for GMAT must follow all the security measures to ensure a safe and secure test environment on test day. They must:

  1. Keep a proper identification proof or issued government id
  2. Provide their palm vein scan
  3. Provide their digital signature declaring that they abide to the terms and conditions
  4. Provide their digital photograph, which is also mandatory for the test.

What is Palm Vein Scan?
The palm vein reader biometric technology is quick, simple, less intrusive, and more accurate than fingerprint technology. It ensures that each test taker has a single GMAT record, preventing people from taking the test for others.

The palm vein reader is part of the ongoing effort by GMAC to maintain test integrity, deter people from taking the test for others, and ensure that the exam is a fair measure of everyone’s ability.
