  • A four-year bachelor’s degree. GPAs of 3.3 or more out of 4 will have the highest chances of admission into MBA programs without GMAT scores. 
  • Two LORs (Letters of Recommendation). 
  • Professional or work experience (may hover between 3-5 years, depending on the institution). 
  • Private Declaration Letter.

You can look for institutions offering 1-year or executive MBA programs without GMAT scores. Some of the available options include Bryant University, Babson College, Clarkson University Graduate School and the University of Vermont along with the Rutgers Business School at Rutgers University. 

You will require good academic scores in your four-year bachelor’s course along with suitable GRE or other scores as mandated by the institution along with your SOP, LORs and professional work experience.

How to get admission in MBA in the USA without GMAT?

You can always get admission into an MBA program in the USA without GMAT by meeting other eligibility guidelines. 

They include possessing minimum work experience as required by the institution, good GRE scores, submitting your SOP and LORs, taking aptitude tests or submitting MBA essays, etc. CVs or resumes are also important for getting admission into several such institutions.

Can GMAT be waived?

GMAT is not waived by all MBA schools or universities. However, many institutions are already waiving GMAT requirements. Some of the names include Darden, Ross and MIT among several others. GMAT waivers enable aspirants to forego the requirement to submit GMAT scores for admissions.

Does Stanford MBA require GMAT?

Yes, the Stanford MBA program requires GMAT scores. The desired range is between 610-790 although acceptance is more likely at the upper end of the spectrum. 

A score of 710 on GMAT along with a good interview and overall academic track record is a must for getting admission to Stanford. A score of 750 or more is the best target since the acceptance rate for the MBA program is quite low at Stanford University.
