The Robert Gordon University is a public institution at Aberdeen in Scotland. It is known for its focus on quality teaching and research. It is ranked at 801-1000 and 1001-1200 in the QS (2023) and THE (2022) world university rankings list. The Robert Gordon’s Hospital first opened for residential education in 1750.This was followed by the Aberdeen Mechanics’ Institution in 1824 and Robert Gordon’s College in 1881. The name became the Robert Gordon Institute of Technology in 1991, followed by the university status in 1992. The Robert Gordon University is the irst to get CQI (Chartered Quality Institute) accreditation. The Aberdeen Business School has Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association accreditations. The university is the first to get SISA accreditation. The institution has 16,000 students across 153 countries, with 10,000 undergraduate students and 6,000 postgraduate students.The Garthdee Campus offers cutting-edge learning facilities on the River Dee’s banks. Both developmental phases were finished by 2015 itself. Research facilities include OpenAIR@RGU, the institutional open-access repository of the institution. About Campus and Accommodation

The university has a big campus named Garthdee campus. It's wonderful parkland, beside the river Dee. The walkways, striking architecture and mature trees provide a beautiful place to rest and re-energize. Various facilities include bike parking and cycling facilities, a University library, a few canteens, Printing and graphics facilities to easily print and design things related to academic departments, 2500 IT workplaces, a Law clinic that provides free, reliable and confidential legal advice, Physiotherapy clinic run by experienced physiotherapists, sports facility with gyms, climbing wall and a swimming pool and treehouse nursery.
