Acceptance rate

Admission panels are not as selective at the institution, with a 92% acceptance rate as of fall 2021. Previously in 2020, the rate of acceptance was 90.6%. 

University eligibility criteria

• A valid bachelor’s degree from an approved and accredited institution or university. 
• A 3.0 GPA or more in the recent 45 quarter credits.
• A passing score on the university’s entrance examination for the desired program. 
• Satisfactory program-specific requirements. 

Documents required

• Bachelor’s degree or other academic proof. 
• A minimum of two recommendation letters. 
• Official transcripts of the applicants from any attended university or college.

Evaluation of applicants

If the applicant is a non-native English Speaker, then he/she is required to demonstrate proficiency in English. TOEFL scores are accepted by Seattle Pacific University for its graduate programs and the required scores vary, based on the chosen program.

The application deadline for the autumn session is June 1st, while the application deadline for the winter session is September 1st. The application deadline for the spring session is December 1st. Summer applications are not taken from international students.
