Due to its excellent performance over the years the CU is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Additionally, they have also been accredited by MSCHE with the academic affiliation of AAU URA 568 Group NAICU Space-grant.

University Campus, Facilities, Labs and Courses

The faculty at CU is highly qualified, and students get to study from professors and instructors who have extensive subject-matter knowledge. The university also provides an extensive selection of academic programmes. In addition to a world-class medical facility, it has four connected colleges and seminaries, twenty-five archives, and more than one hundred research institutions and labs. It has three undergraduate schools, thirteen graduate and professional schools, four affiliated institutions, and four libraries. Since the first Nobel prizes were awarded in 1901, more than 80 Columbia faculty members, adjunct employees, and alumni have received them. Columbia has two locations outside of Manhattan: the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in Palisades, New York, and Nevis Laboratories, a center for the study of high-energy experimental particle and nuclear physics in Irvington, New York.
