How to Register for PLAB Exam

1.Create a GMC Online Account.

2.Put your IELTS or OET (Occupational English Test) under the ‘My Tests’ section of GMC online portal.

3.Book your PLAB exam date and place.

4.Make payment for your test online.

5.Find your booking confirmation in your mail.

Fees for PLAB Exam

The PLAB exam fees in India are as follows: 

- For PLAB 1, it is  is £255

- For PLAB 2, it is £934. 

PLAB Exam Eligibility

You must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the PLAB exam.

1.Primary medical qualification: You must have a primary medical qualification acceptable to the General Medical Council (GMC). This could be a degree from a medical school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools or an equivalent qualification.

2.English language proficiency: You must demonstrate your proficiency in the English language by passing the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or Occupational English Test (OET) exam, with a minimum score of 7.5 in the IELTS exam or a Grade B in the OET exam.

3.Completed one-year internship or equivalent: You must have completed at least one year of internship or its equivalent in your home country or where you obtained the medical qualification.
