Tips for Applying to Rice University
Enroll in UG courses
All applicants from overseas are required, just like applicants from the United States, to use either the Coalition Application portal or the Common Application platform. After students have finished their applications on one of these portals by the beginning of November, they have the option to request an alumni interview.
Enroll for PG courses
Rice welcomes direct applications from prospective international students and accepts them through its online application platform. Students who have not earned the necessary credits are still expected to attend summer school to make up the difference.
