Yorkville University is officially recognised and accredited by the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour of New Brunswick. The bachelor and interior design degree of Yorkville University has been accredited by Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). A few other degree programs of the university have been accredited separately by other professional accrediting organisations. 

University Campus, Facilities, Labs and Courses

The central campus of Yorkville University is situated in Toronto, which is a multicultural and vibrant global hub for design and business with a renowned quality of life. The west coast campus of this university is situated in Vancouver, which has strong cultural connection to the region of Asia-Pacific. The online programs are hosted in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Students have access to the maths and writing labs and the university also offers one-on-one tutoring and student assistance. Yorkville University offers two degree programs- undergraduate and graduate. The five main graduate programs that are offered by Yorkville University are a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP), a Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy, a master of Education in Adult Education (M.Ed), a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA General) and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership (M.Ed). The main undergraduate programs offered by the university are Bachelor in Business Administration, Interior Decorating Associate Diploma, Bachelor of Interior Design, ESL Pathway Program and Bachelor of Creative Arts. 

Yorkville University Acceptance Rate

The University does not provide any acceptance rate as the university is responsible for selecting all the candidates across the world. The university does not go for selective admission of students and allows every student to get admission. This university gives opportunity to every candidate so that they can get a chance for higher education in this university. Moreover, this university is responsible for making everyone learn the basic courses of the university. 

Admission Eligibility Criteria

High School

  • The applicants entering from high school must hold an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or its equivalent with a minimum of 65% average in at least 6 courses from the U/M level or its equivalent which includes Grade 12 Maths (U or M level) and Grade 12 English (ENG4U or its equivalent). 

College/University

  • The graduate applicants from another college or university will be assessed by Yorkville on a case-by case basis. 
  • Graduate applicants of 2 to 3 year university or college programs will be regarded for block transfer credit of up to a maximum of 60 credits. 

Mature students

  • Applicants must have equivalent ability to those of Ontario high school graduates.
  • Applicants must successfully complete post secondary level courses through proficiency assessments.
