In a recent announcement, College Board announced that they will begin digitalizing the SAT exam starting in 2023, and it will be a two-hour test instead of the current three-hour one. The test's math section can also be taken with a calculator if the test-takers wish to use one during the exam.

Digital SATs will be available to international students from early 2023. In the current test version, students use a pencil to fill the bubbles on the sheet with multiple-choice questions. Students will be able to get scores for the SAT in a matter of days rather than weeks with the Digital SATs
