In 1883, the University of South Wales was established as a public research institution. The university, which has campuses in Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, and Pontypridd, is among the biggest in the UK. It ranks at #41 in the Best Global Universities rankings by U.S. News for 2022. THE ranks it at 1001-1200 in its 2023 World University Rankings. 
 

The University of South Wales, which has three campuses spread across South Wales, is located in a particularly stunning area of the UK.
