Some popular schools for research apart from the School of Medicine are marine science, education, engineering, and psychology. Spread across 400 acres, the institute has three campuses in Miami-Dade County. Approximately seven miles from downtown Miami, Coral Gables is the main campus with two colleges and seven schools.
