Johns Hopkins University (JHU), located in Baltimore, Maryland, is a private research university. Johns Hopkins University was the first American university to be established in 1876 under the model of a European research institution.

Baltimore serves as the home base for JHU. The university's 10 campuses spread over 3 continents display 10 divisions. Six academic and community hospitals are on display at JHU, which has health science as one of its top disciplines. The institution houses 40 patient care locations, a home care group, four suburban surgery and healthcare facilities, and one foreign division.

JHU provides more than 400 programs at various academic levels and in numerous fields. 99 doctorate programs, 220 master's programs, and 96 bachelor's programs are among them. 127 certificates, 53 post-master's certificates (graduate certificates), and 5 non-degree programs are also available to students at Johns Hopkins University. At the university, there are three different study options available: on-campus, online, and hybrid. JHU provides admission to dual- and combined-degree programs. Through the W.P. Carey School of Business, the university provides a flexible online, part-time, and full-time MBA program.
