Accreditation, Number of Students and Faculties

The Higher Learning commission has continuously accredited the University of New Mexico, since 1922. University Campus, Facilities, Labs and Courses

With an urban setting, the University of New Mexico has a campus size of 769 acres. The main university campus is located in Albuquerque, and they are separated in three different parts- north, central and south. The central campus is where the main academic university is The North Campus incorporates law, pharmacological and nursing schools. The South Campus, on the other hand, incorporates most of the athletic facilities of the university. The primary UNM library, and departmental libraries are some of the important features of the University. Admission Eligibility Criteria

Following are the admission eligibility criteria of the University of New Mexico:

  • The applicants need a cumulative high school GPA of 2.75, on a scale of 4.0 in order to get an admission in the University of New Mexico. 
  • If the GPA requirements of the applicants are not met, they are required to take SAT or ACT tests. 
  • The ACT composite score of the applicants must be 21, and their SAT score must be 1060. 
  • The applicants must be ranked in the top 20% of the graduating class, in order to get an admission in the University of New Mexico. 
  • International applicants must take an English Proficiency test.
