The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) accredits the West Texas A & M University for awarding masters, baccalaureate and doctorate degrees. The main campus of West Texas A & M University is located in Canyon, Texas and it is the university’s northernmost campus. The campus has a suburban setting and spreads over 135 acres. Freshman admission
- Applicants seeking freshman admission must have a class rank among the top 30% in high school.
- The applicant must score a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- The applicant must have an ACT composite score of 21 and an SAT composite score of 1060.
Graduate admission
- Candidates seeking admission to the graduate school must secure an overall undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0.
