University of Houston – A brief about History 

The University of Houston (abbreviated as UH) is located in Houston, Texas. It is a public research-focused higher education institution founded in 1927 as Houston Junior College. In 1934, it was converted into a university, followed by its statehood in 1963. It was incorporated into the newly formed University of Houston System in 1977. The Carnegie Foundation has promoted the University of Houston ranking to Tier One. It is a member of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, the Oak Ridge Associated Universities, and the Universities Research Association.

University of Houston Education

To receive University of Houston acceptance, international students must apply with their Grade 12 results for undergraduate programs.
