International Living Learning Community Housing

A living-learning community is intended to act as a link between a student's interests and aspirations and their experience living on campus, building a sense of community and enabling networking with other students who have the same interests. 

Bedding facilities

For students living on campus, the university will provide a basic bedding set upon arrival. The fee, which is about USD 60.00 (subject to change), will be charged automatically to the student's CWU account. 

 Included in the bedding set will be:

• 1 pillow
• 1 flat sheet
• 1 pillowcase
• 1 light blanket
• 1 fitted sheet

Exam Requirements for Central Washington University 

To be considered for Central Washington University admission, you have to meet the following exam requirement

1. TOEFL score- minimum overall score needed is 71. 

2. Duolingo English test-  minimum overall score needed is 105. 

3. IELTS- Minimum overall score needed is 6.0 

4. English Composition Courses- Grade of C or 2.0 or higher in two college-level English composition courses from a U.S. college/university. 

5. Certificate in C1 Advanced English- minimum overall score needed is 180 or above.

6. Certificate in C2 Proficiency- minimum overall score needed is 200 or above. 

7. First Language- minimum grade C in English

8. Pearson Test of English(link is external) (PTE) Exam- minimum overall score needed is 50

9. International Baccalaureate (IB)- Higher Level English grade of 5 or better.

10. SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing- minimum overall score needed is 530.

11. ACT English Score- minimum overall score needed is 19.

12. Completion of School Outside the U.S. where the Language of Instruction was English- An official letter from the school declaring that English will be the language of teaching.
