Tennessee Tech is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to grant Master's, Baccalaureate, specialist and doctoral degrees. It is also accredited by many other agencies such as The American Chemical Society, ABET, INC, AACB-I international, NCATE, NASM and many more. Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission, National Association of Schools of Art and Design, and Associate Members also give accreditation in regional areas.

The university campus has many administrative buildings with educational buildings. Roaden University Centre, Ashraf Islam Engineering Building, Bartoo Hall, Brown Hall, Bruner Hall, Bryan Fine Arts Building, Clement Hall, DBRY, FNDH and many other buildings are on the campus. There are many suites, a tech village, maintenance buildings, parks and open spaces in the campus area.  This university has a student-faculty ratio of 18:1. This university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes and some online courses. Certificate, master's, doctorate- professional practice, doctorate research and scholarship programmes are offered by this university. Tennessee Technological University Acceptance Rate

The admission process of this university is more selective and the acceptance rate is 79%. Half of the applicants admitted to this university have an SAT score between 1050 and 1320 or an ACT score of 21 and 28. On the other hand, one-quarter of the admitted students achieved scores above these ranges and one-quarter scored below these ranges.

Admission Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate 

The applicants for the undergraduate programme need a high school final exam result aged 18 or above.  For transfer students need a minimum credit of 24 and the minimum required college GPA is 2. 

Postgraduate

The applicants for the postgraduate programme need graduation final results with language proficiency proof. For international students, a separate application is needed and early decision and early action conditions are applied here. TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, and ACT are considered in this case.
