Founded in 1975 as the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (ITP), the private Sofia University is currently recognized by the World Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The University has always focused its graduate curriculum on Transpersonal Psychology. Here, we use the term "Transpersonal Psychology" to refer to the scientific study of the complete spectrum of human experience, from the lows of trauma and dysfunction to the highs of creativity, intuition, and peak performance.
