Founded in 1929 Connecticut’s Quinnipiac University in the U.S. is a private co-education university. It offers a personal and challenging educational experience and ranks #45 among the best value school by the US News & World Report, 2022. It has various colleges, including the School of Business, Communication, and Education.

The New England Commission of Higher Education accredits the university. It receives accreditation from the Board of Education of the state of Connecticut. The state's General Assembly authorizes the university to confer such degrees and grant diplomas authorized by the board. Each school under the university also received specific accreditations. Quinnipiac University is home to over 10,000 students, about 6,800 undergraduate and 3,000 graduate, law, and medical students. The university welcomes students from all parts of the world. William C. Weldon, the 8th Chairman of Johnson & Johnson; William D. Euille, former mayor of Alexandria, Virginia; and Mary Jane Foster, the co-founder of the Bridgeport Bluefish, are some notable alumni of the university.
