ETSU is accredited by SACSCOC to award master’s, education specialist, baccalaureate and doctoral degrees. The business programmes of this university are fully accredited by AACSB and CBAT. ACCME accreditation is approved for the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. The department of social work gives full accreditation to MSW and BSW. 

University Campus, Facilities, Labs and Courses

The university is located in Johnson City, Tennessee in the US with an urban campus of 140 hectares.  This university has academic and administrative buildings on the campus with libraries and laboratories. There are colleges of arts and science, business and technology, pharmacy, public health, Honours College and so on.  The library house has university archives and archives of Appalachia. A variety of students access the variety of services such as 62 individual study rooms, 14 group study rooms and so on.  The various laboratory facilities are here in this university such as biological, bio-chemical, metallurgy, geography, chemical engineering and so on.

East Tennessee State University Acceptance Rate

The admission process is selective in this university with an acceptance rate of 87%. The applicants must have an ACT score between 19 and 26. On the other hand, one-quarter of applicants should have scores above this score and one-quarter below the score.

Admission Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate

This university has average admission requirements for ACT scores and SAT scores. The applicants generally get admission who score in the top 60 %. The SAT score should be 940 to 1170 and the ACT score should be 20 to 27. This university has a very good acceptance rate which is 87% according to US News. ETSU generally accepts B+ average high school students. 

Postgraduate

ETSU has admission criteria for postgraduate programmes and applicants should meet the needed criteria. This criterion includes a satisfactory undergraduate grade point, letters of recommendation, questions about admission, and satisfactory GRE scores. Students from the other language from English should have submitted the language skill proof.
