Bethel University has been continuously accredited by the Higher learning commission since 1959. The accreditation council for business schools and programs and the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education, CCNE are also accreditation agencies of this university. ARC- PA, ACME and CSWE  give accreditation to the many sectors of this university. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 1,170 (fall 2021) and it follows a semester-based academic calendar.

The setting of this university is suburban and the campus size is 245 acres. It utilises a 4-1-4-based academic calendar. This university offers a number of student services such as placement services, nonremedial tutoring, health service, health insurance and many more. This university also offers safety and security services like 24-hour emergency telephones, day and night foot and vehicle patrols, controlled dormitory access and so on. Alcohol is not permitted for students of legal age at this university. Bethel University admissions are selective with an acceptance rate of 89%. Half of the applicants admitted to this university have an ACT score of 20 and 28 or an SAT score between 1123 and 1343. However, one-quarter of admitted applicants achieve scores below these ranges and one-quarter of the students scored above these ranges. The application deadline at this university is rolling. The admission officials of this university consider a student's GPA an important academic factor. An admission interview is recommended to get admission to this university. The minimum required college GPA is 2.5 here for getting admission. TOEFL paper-based or internet-based and IELTS  are recommended here.
