The Graduate Certificate in Employment Law and Practice is a specialist course for law and non-law professionals that seeks to develop subject expertise and practical skills in the field of labour law. The course is intended to educate professionals in the general area of employment law as well as specialist themes, including workplace culture and work health and safety. As a professional working in, or alongside, the area of employment law and/or practice (including HR managers and those working in industrial relations and employee relations), this course expands and deepens student knowledge of relevant law, policy and contemporary issues as well as their professional skills, particularly in relation to analysis, communication and collaboration. Law of the Sea refers to the international law governing the rights and duties of stakeholders in maritime environments. It involves navigational rights, sea mineral claims, and coastal waters jurisdiction. The Graduate Certificate in Law of the Sea is designed to meet the early and mid-career education requirements of legally qualified professionals working in a maritime policy or operational context, or those who intend to pursue a career in a maritime or related field This degree provides a broad understanding of the law of the sea and ocean governance and deals with international law and policy issues related to the world's oceans. It addresses these issues in the contexts of the importance of the sea for trade, as a source of both living and non-living marine resources, as an important natural environment, and as both a source of international political tensions and cooperation. The Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice is 26-week full-time professional and practical training course conducted by the Centre for Legal Studies in Hobart. The course runs from February to July each year. It prepares law graduates for the conduct of legal practice.

The Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP) is a compulsory requirement to be admitted as a barrister and solicitor in South Australia. It provides practical legal training for law graduates. To apply, you must have successfully completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), or met the criteria specified by admitting authorities in your state or territory. If you studied your LLB overseas you'll need to have your qualifications accredited by the South Australian Board of Examiners before you can commence the GDLP. You can contact the Law Society of South Australia to discuss these requirements. The GDLP program is designed to be flexible around other requirements. You'll choose between weekday, after-hours and weekend classes. There is also an accelerated pathway, which can be completed in 20 weeks. You will: complete five core courses select two electives aligned to your interests and career goals undertake five hours minimum of continuing professional development build real-world skills through 30 days (225 hours) of legal practice placement.

The Master of Laws (LLM) program provides students from a legal background with a specialist postgraduate law qualification. Students may choose to pursue a specialised area of study or select subjects from a broad range of law electives.
