Whitworth's accreditation status is said to be ' Accreditation Reaffirmed'. This university is a member institution of the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). This accreditation indicates that the university meets the criteria for assessing institutional quality by following a peer review process.  In the fall of 2021, total student enrollments have been 2307. Out of these, 41% are male and 59% are female. However, 49% of the students of this university live in college-owned and managed houses whereas 51% live outside the college.

Campus life provides a large number of facilities to the students such as nonremedial tutoring, health services, and placement services. Alcohol is not permitted within the campus for safety purposes. Admission Eligibility Criteria

This university is not too competitive because it has a high acceptance rate. This is a good aspect in one hand. They accept almost every student and in the majority of cases, the student only needs to submit an application. The average GPA requirement of this university is 3.63 whereas the average GPA of other universities is 4.0. The student needs to have a mix of A’s and B’s and lower GPA s have to be compensated with harder classes like AP or IB. In the case of SAT, the average requirement of this university is 1190, and the ACT requirement is 25. 

Documents, Test and Average Score Required

The first thing that students need is their high school transcripts. Along with this, the students will also need to submit their SAT, ACT, or CLT scores. However, students who have attended five or more classes from an accredited school or college have the option to either submit these scores or not submit them. But, students who have been homeschooled or students who have received competency-based scores without any proper GPAs have to submit test results of SAT, ACT, or CLT. The students can also submit a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or a counselor. Each of these documents have to be properly submitted by the student before getting an admission in the university. For foreign students, the test results of TOEFL is very much important for admission.
