A major in Hospitality and Tourism Management prepares students for a wide range of careers, across all types of organizations, around the world. Course material updated as the industry changes and focuses on how Hospitality & Tourism Management theory is applicable to real-world events. Faculty members maintain strong ties with community members and business partners. Faculty members also have international education and research experience, which adds a global perspective to the classroom. 

The International Business major arms students with the tools to tackle challenges in business while empowering them to contribute and engage in organizations and communities in a global business environment. Students in the Entrepreneurship track receive mentoring and develop the skills they need to start their own business or work in a business startup. Entrepreneurs are at the heart of job growth. Students in the Leadership track have opportunities to advance in human resources and management with various levels of responsibility building successful teams while managing an increasingly complex business environment. Successful leaders develop the strategies, plans, procedures, and policies that guide a business team in the short and long term. Successful leaders do so by coordinating human, financial, and material assets to achieve organizational objectives.

Management Information Systems (MIS) is a discipline and a profession that brings information and communication technologies to businesses and society. By applying information and communications technologies and systems, MIS solves real business problems and gives competitive advantage to firms. MIS focuses on the concepts and tools necessary for analyzing, designing, planning, developing, and managing organizational information resources.

Business Analytics involves information technologies, applications, and practices for collection, integration, analysis, and presentation of business data and information. Business Analytics allows managers to extract information from the data to make decisions regarding operations, sales and marketing, and research and development of products and services.

The Department of Marketing offers programs of study that prepare students for professional careers in the growing fields of brand management, retailing management, digital marketing, social media, advertising, and personal selling and sales management. Applied projects are interwoven with academic coursework to expose students to a range of current marketing trends and strategies. Original research and creative scholarship among department faculty contribute to improvements in both the theory and practice of marketing. Students are prepared to become effective marketing managers in the customer-centered marketplace of tomorrow.

Civil engineers design the constructed environment and the infrastructure that supports our society. Electrical engineering is the design and analysis of any device or system that uses electricity or electromagnetic radiation, including computers and the networks that connect them; consumer electronic goods like MP3 players, satellite radio and HDTV; power generation and transmission systems; wireless cellular and wireline telephone networks; integrated circuits and electronic devices; electronic motors and actuators; MRI and other medical instruments and more. Environmental engineers integrate principles of engineering, mathematics, earth science, soil science, life science, and materials science with emphasis on the design and development of solutions to environmental challenges, such as improvement of water, air pollution control, safe disposal of wastes, and the stewardship of our natural resources.
