About the University

The Institution of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a fully accredited public university that is situated in the Fraser Valley, just east of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. It was established in 1974 as Fraser College and became the University of the Fraser Valley in 2008. Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Hope, and Chandigarh, India, are among the places where UFV has campuses and sites. On campus, there are students from 55 different nations, with the top five nationalities being Chinese, Indian, Saudi, Korean, and Japanese. International students make up around 9.5% of all UFV students. Three master's degrees, 17 bachelor's degrees with majors, minors, and extended minors in more than 35 subject areas, four graduate certificates, and more than a dozen trades and technology programmes are among the more than 100 programmes that UFV offers. The University of Frazer Valley is one of Canada's most ethnically diverse regions, and is, like all of Canada's cities, a safe and welcoming environment for foreign students to live and study. Owing to their academic prowess, the University ranks #317 in Best Global Universities according to US NEWS.
