UHCL’s accounting program will give you the tools for success in and out of the classroom from day one. Our faculty have years of professional experience in accounting, tax planning and auditing, so you will learn theory and real-life practice. Our accounting program allows you to choose between the Bachelor of Science in Accounting and the Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in Professional Accounting. Once you’re finished with the program, you will be able to take advantage of internship and co-op programs through the Cooperative Education Program, which is designed to prepare students for careers by integrating paid work experience with academic study.

The mission of the Computer Engineering Bachelor of Science program at University of Houston-Clear Lake is to provide students instruction in the pragmatic application of core knowledge by which they can specify, design and develop large and small computer systems for industrial and scientific purposes. Students get hands-on experience in digital system design, microprocessor and embedded system, communication and network, and robotics.

Information Technology specialists run the gamut in skills — from maintaining the databases that users rely upon to gathering information to serve customers; upgrading computer software, or setting up and maintaining the servers on which the company's applications run. You'll learn all of this and more with a degree in Information Technology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. The undergraduate major in Behavioral Sciences leads to the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. This major allows students to combine courses from an array of disciplines including anthropology, criminology, geography, psychology, social work and sociology into one degree. The philosophy behind this multidisciplinary approach is the recognition that human behavior and societal problems are too complex to be fully covered by one academic discipline. Majors take multidisciplinary core behavioral science classes and two disciplinary concentrations. Selections are made based on the student’s academic and career goals.
