University of Bristol Acceptance rate

Admission at the University of Bristol is often competitive but not overly challenging. For admission to the university, a strong GPA, relevant work experience, and letters of recommendation are sufficient. With a 67.3% acceptance rate, the University of Bristol is somewhat selective in its admissions selection.

Admission Eligibility Criteria

  • The University of Bristol welcomes applications from students pursuing the European Baccalaureate curriculum. Most of our undergraduate courses demand average scores of 77% or more, and some even demand 88%.
  • A Minimum Highschool Degree is required to be eligible for General UG Studies. Whereas, a Bachelor’s Degree is a must for PG aspirants. 
  • Average test scores are to be met along with English Proficiency test scores (for international students)

How the University Evaluates Applicants

Graduate school admissions are assessed based on academic history, different job experiences, reference letters, a written statement or statement of purpose, and a writing sample (Essay). Several programmes may need work experience primarily for PG programs. Additionally, English proficiency test results are required in addition to the general test results that must be met as noted below.
