The main campus of UT Tyler is situated on 204 acres, just beyond Tyler, Texas,' eastern municipal limits. Since 1996, a large number of structures and athletic facilities have been built on the main campus. The Riter Tower, an 88-foot tower with 57 bells, is one of the most noticeable elements of the UT Tyler campus. On campus, there is a gym and the R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Centre.
