Minot State University

The campus of Minot State University covers over 100 acres of land in an urban setting. Facilities on campus include a football field, an amphitheater, a recital hall, the Gordon B. Olson Library, the MSU Dome arena, and the MSU Wellness Centre. A bookstore, dining room, convenience shop, and lounge areas are all part of the student union. MSU offers three residential buildings and four dorms for students.

All applicants must meet the following admission procedures for applying to the courses at Minot State University.

• All mandatory documents are required for a full application to Minot State University Applications that aren't complete won't be taken into consideration.
• Visit MinotStateU.edu/health/immunization.shtml to submit the necessary documentation. No student will be allowed to sign up for a subsequent term until immunization requirements have been met or waiver documentation is ready. 
• Even if a student does not meet the required high school GPA criteria or high school core admission requirements, Minot State University still encourages them to apply. The Admissions Exemption Committee will evaluate applicants who don't meet the high school core standards considering additional criteria.
• A $35 application fee and an online admission application must be submitted to the Enrollment Services Office in order to be admitted. A $35 nonrefundable application fee is required.

Documents Required for Minot State University

The following documents are required for applying to the degree courses at Minot State University. 

• A non-refundable application fee of $35 must be paid either online or via money order or check. 
• A statement of purpose of at least 500 words must be uploaded stating your objective in pursuing the desired degree at the university. 
• Students applying to courses like Sports management, Management, Information Systems, and School Psychology must upload their updated resume. 
• Applicants must submit at least three letters of recommendation. 
• The university also requires test scores for undergraduate GPA, GRE, and English language proficiency. 
• Students must upload all official academic transcripts from previous colleges or universities. 
• An immunization record for the student is mandatory. 
• International students must submit proof of English proficiency in IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo English Test. 
• International students also require a transfer clearance form and Certification for Financial Responsibility. 

Exam Requirements for Minot State University

Undergraduate GPA Requirement-

• Applicants must have an earned baccalaureate degree.
• A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75 (on a scale of A-4.0) is required. Note that some of the programs have higher GPA requirements.

Graduate Record Exam (GRE)-

• GRE is required in Education Specialist-School Psychology
• Only if your cumulative GPA is less than 3.00 or if the most recent semesters that contributed to at least 60 semester hours is below 3.00, then you are eligible for the Master of Science in Management (MSM) program. Students must achieve a score in the top 50%.
• Proof of English Proficiency-
• TOEFL- Internet-based test with a score of at least 79 
• IELTS- A score of at least 6.0 overall band
• Duolingo- At least 100.
