QS Global MBA Rankings 2024 out; Stanford retains top spot

Stanford Graduate School of Businessā€™ full-time MBA has topped the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Global MBA Rankings for the third consecutive year. Harvard Business School and The Wharton School bagged second and third spots, respectively, in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2023. Also, Cambridge Judge Business School witnessed respectable gains as it rose from 17th to 12th position. 

B-schools in the US dominate the ranking, with as many as 115 American programs being among the 300 ranked. Five of the top 10 institutions and 40 of the top 100 were business schools with campuses in the United States.

QS MBA Ranking Methodology

Data for the QS MBA ranking is garnered via academics, employers, and business school staff surveys.

The global MBA programs in 47 countries have been ranked using five data lenses, with Employability as the primary metric. Employability (40%); Return on Investment (20%); Thought Leadership (15%); Entrepreneurship and Alumni Outcomes (15%); Class & Faculty Diversity (10%).

To be encapsulated in the QS MBA ranking, business schools must be accredited by either EFMD (EQUIS), AACSB, or AMBA.
