In Valdosta, Georgia, Valdosta State University (VSU or Valdosta State) is one of the University System of Georgia's four comprehensive universities. Over 12,000 students from both undergraduate and graduate programs were enrolled at VSU as of 2019. In Lowndes County, north of Valdosta, Moody Air Force Base also hosts classes offered by VSU. The main campus and north campus are the two distinct parts of the VSU campus. The majority of the administrative and academic departments are located on the main campus, which is renowned for the Spanish Mission architecture theme that permeates each structure.
