The Cherokee Female Seminary's grounds, which now include more than 200 acres, were transformed into the Tahlequah campus. The seminary's original structure is now Seminary Hall, a facility for academic purposes. The campus is home to a large number of educational, research, living, and recreational facilities. A $10 million science centre was recently built by the university, with the money coming from bonds the university issued.

Scholarship
International students pursuing degrees full-time at NSU who require financial assistance to study in the US can apply for scholarships. The scholarships are provided by the Office of International Programs and, if awarded, will be used over two semesters to reduce the student's tuition. Students must apply, be fully admitted to a degree program, have a minimum GPA of 2.75, and be eligible for the award.
Only qualifying applicants will be notified after applications have been reviewed by the Office of International Programs. For the Fall Semester and the Spring Semester, students must submit their International Scholarship Application for New NSU Students by July 1 and November 1, respectively. 94% of NSU's undergraduate students get financial aid of some kind. Students may also qualify for NSU's Quad State, Tribal Heritage, and Non-Resident scholarships.
Northeastern State University's Admission
Applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of $25. The fee can be paid online by the applicants. Every academic year, the university welcomes new students for the Fall and Spring semesters.
The college accepts applications on a rolling basis following the deadlines for each semester. New applicants must mail their transcripts to the Office of International Programs.
