College of William and Mary: Rankings, Courses & Admissions

Over 1,158 acres of land make up the campus, which is separated into three campuses. The majority of the academic buildings, housing, and administrative support buildings are located on the main campus, which makes up around 87% of the entire school. There are various sporting fields, storage facilities, and some offices on the Dillard campus, which make up about 3% of the entire campus. 10% of the total is taken up by the campus of the law school. Additionally, the campus boasts possessing one of the oldest millponds in the state, measuring around 47 acres and currently known as Lake Matoaka, which was built around 1720.

Freshmen applicants seeking admission to the undergraduate courses at the College of William and Mary should be aware of the following admission procedures-

• Students must submit their Common Application by either November 1 (Early Decision I) or January 5 (Early Decision II and Regular Decision) if they are applying to William & Mary. 
• After that deadline on January 5, additional information such as transcripts, test results, and recommendations can still be submitted. 
• Freshman applicants will get an email from W&M when their application is received that contains their login information for the Application Status Portal.
• Payment of the $75 non-refundable application fee or a request for a fee waiver.

Graduate applicants seeking admission to the undergraduate courses at the College of William and Mary should be aware of the following admission procedures-

• W&M Graduate applications are available online.
• Students who submit applications online must pay the application fee by bank transfer or credit card. No separate cheque has to be delivered. There is no reimbursement for the application cost. 
• A $50 application fee is applicable. This fee must be paid at the time of application for students who apply online.
• Students must use the following address for standard U.S. mail if they need to send admissions paperwork to the college office: "The School of Education - Office of Academic Programs PO Box 8795 Williamsburg, VA 23187."
• To ensure that the college receives the materials, students must mention "School of Education" in the address.

Documents Required for College of William and Mary

When applying for undergraduate programs, the following documents are required:

• School Report Forms and Recommendations, and Academic Records from Secondary and Postsecondary Institutions Attended
• SAT/ACT scores, or apply for admission without taking the test
• Optional teacher evaluation

Exam Requirements for College of William and Mary

Applicants seeking admission to the College of William and Mary must submit the following test scores-

• Standardized test results are required. The minimum requirements for admission to the university are an overall SAT score of 130 to 1510 out of 1600 and an ACT composite score of 30 to 34. GRE and GMAT scores are necessary for graduate programs.
• certified copies of your high school or college transcripts. The board or university that issued the transcripts must certify them.
• Tests of English language proficiency are mandatory for international applicants who do not speak English as their first language. They must have either IELTS 7.0 or the TOEFL iBT 100 Academic Module.
