Exam Requirements for Benedictine University

To ensure that each entering student is prepared to succeed in Benedictine programs, it is advised that all applicants to the university meet the minimum requirements listed below.

• Undergraduate students must have secured at least a GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0.
• Benedictine University is test optional but students may still submit their ACT and SAT composite test scores. The average SAT composite test score was 1060, and the average ACT composite test score was 21. 
• International undergraduate applicants must submit at least one English proficiency test score. They require either 6.5 in the IELTS, 79 in TOEFL iBT, or 550 in TOEFL paper-based. 
• International graduate applicants must submit at least one English proficiency test score. They require either 6.0 in the IELTS, 78 in TOEFL iBT, or 550 in TOEFL paper-based.
