The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), conducted by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), is a national-level licensure entrance exam that permits international medical graduates to register with the Medical Council of India either permanently or provisionally. The exam takes place twice annually, in June and December.

The steps to download the admit card for FMGE are as follows:

  • On the NBEMS official website, www.natboard.edu.in, you must log in with your application number and password to download the admit card. 
  • On the homepage, select the "FMGE Examinations" link under the "Examinations" section.
  • Select the link labeled "FMGE Admit Card."
  • Put in your password and application number.
  • Select the "Submit" option.
  • On the screen, your FMGE admit card will appear.
  • Download the admit card, then print it out for your records.

FMGE Admit Card: Important Instructions

The following are important guidelines for FMGE:

 

  • Applicants must show up at the testing location by the reporting time specified on their admit card.
  • Please take note that the reporting counter will close thirty minutes before the exam starts. 
  • Applicants will not be permitted to take the exam if they arrive after the designated reporting time at the testing location. 
  • Take a printout of the candidate's barcoded or QR-coded admit card with their photo attached. A legitimate, original government-issued photo ID (passport, Aadhar card, voter ID, driver's license, or PAN card) is also required.
  • Candidates are prohibited from bringing textbooks and stationery, including calculators, plastic pouches, pens, writing pads, pen drives, erasers, and pen drives, to the test center. Electronic gadgets like scanners, pagers, calculators, Bluetooth, microphones, cell phones, earphones, or electronic pens are also prohibited.
