The Goethe University’s fees are 352.59 Euros (approximately INR 29-30,000) per semester. It covers the cost of public transportation tickets in Frankfurt and surrounding areas. It is the only fee payable at the institution which does not charge tuition fees. This is a big advantage for international students who only have to cover their living costs.

Bachelor’s applicants

Scholarships

All students at the institution may apply for the entrance scholarship. BaföG is the national law that regulates educational support and determines eligibility for funding in Germany, based on certain conditions. 

Alongside, there are many other scholarships offered by the university including the well-known Deutschlandstipendium and also Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD-German Academic Exchange Service), Katholischer Akademischer Auslanderdienst (KAAD- Catholic Academic Service for Foreigners), and the Otto Benecke Foundation scholarships.  

About Placements

Goethe University has its own Career Service that ensures diverse support for students at all levels. Students can also find several short-term internships at leading companies or other part-time jobs. Various student-driven initiatives are also present, i.e., Goethe Finance Club, AIESEC, MTP Frankfurt-Marketing, GREEN finance consulting, Enactus, ROCK YOUR LIFE, and more. 

There are job fairs organized regularly for connecting with representatives from leading industries and companies. 

The institution also offers specialized career counseling solutions for students to help them understand their desires and the prevailing needs of the job market.
