Goethe University Ranking 2024

Located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Goethe University Frankfurt is a public research university. Established in 1914 as a citizens' university, it was financed and formed by Frankfurt's affluent and engaged liberal populace. There are presently about 45,000 students enrolled at the institution, spread over the four main sites in the city. 2014 marked the university's 100th anniversary. 

The university has established new institutes, like the Center for Financial Studies (CFS) and the Institute for Law and Finance (ILF), in recent years, with a special concentration on economics, history, and law. Given its close proximity to one of Europe's financial hubs, one of the university's goals is to establish itself as Germany's preeminent center for finance and economics. The Fuqua School of Business of Duke University and the Goethe Business School collaborate to offer an MBA program. The Deutsche Bank Prize in Financial Economics is a worldwide award for financial economics research founded by Goethe University.
