NMAT Registration & Exam Dates

Here is how you can complete NMAT registration-

  1. Visit the official NMAT website and click the ‘Register for NMAT by GMAC’ button.
  2. Fill in the required details to create your account.
  3. Enter your mobile number and country details to complete your NMAT profile.
  4. Go to your email and verify your email ID.
  5. Login again using the verified email ID and password.
  6. Now go to the My Accounts page and open the NMAT dashboard.
  7. Fill in the NMAT registration form and proceed to complete the payment.

NMAT Application Process

To complete the NMAT application process, you must register on the NMAT website and follow the below process-

  1. Enter all the requisite details in the application form, like personal details (name, birth, age, gender, category, native language), contact details, educational background, and work experience. Ensure your name and date of birth are as mentioned on your ID proof.
  2. Enter school preference. The first five choices will be included in your registration fee. Additional choices will be charged at INR 300 each.
  3. Upload your latest photograph.
  4. Make the fee payment through a credit/debit card or online banking and schedule your exam date.

NMAT Admission Process

The NMAT exam admission process consists of the following stages-

  1. Registration for the NMAT exam on the official website by providing the required information
  2. Fee payment 
  3. Scheduling exam
  4. Release of NMAT exam admit card
  5. Declaration of results within 48 hours (about two days)
  6. The institute-wise selection process, which includes group discussion and personal interview rounds

NMAT Admit Card

The successfully registered NMAT candidates can download admit cards after the payment of the exam is accepted by GMAC. It is important for the candidates to carry a printout of their admit card and a photocopy of two valid photo IDs to the exam center on the scheduled exam date and time. Here’s the process to download and print the NMAT exam admit card-

  1. Visit the NMAT official website – NMAT by GMAC.
  2. Click the NMAT login tab to enter your email ID/mobile number and user password.
  3. Click the “Admit Card” button to download (only candidates who have scheduled their test date and time will be able to download the admit card).
  4. Check if all the details on the admit card are correct.
  5. Take a printout of the admit card.

NMAT Result

GMAC declares NMAT exam results on its website within 48 hours of the commencement of the examination. Candidates can use their login ID and password to check the results.

The final NMAT scorecard displays the scaled scores of all the attempts taken and will be released a few days after the preliminary scorecard. 

Follow these steps to check your NMAT exam result-

  1. Visit the NMAT official website.
  2. Click on the login button and fill in your username and password.
  3. Tap on the 'NMAT Scorecard' tab.
  4. Click on the save/download button. Your scorecard will be automatically downloaded.

Your NMAT scorecard will display the following details-

  • Candidate’s name
  • NMAT registration number
  • Scores for each section of the NMAT exam
  • Total score secured
  •  NMAT percentile

What is the age limit for appearing for the NMAT exam?

There is no age limitation to appear for the NMAT exam. However, the candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree to be eligible for the tests. Students in their final year of graduation can also apply.

How many attempts can a candidate make to qualify for NMAT?

A maximum of three attempts are allowed for NMAT in one test year. It counts one main attempt and two retakes, including no-shows. A gap of 15 days between each attempt is mandatory.

What is the difficulty level of the NMAT exam?
