Cardiff University, situated in Cardiff, Wales, is a public research university. Cardiff University was established in 1883 and received independent university status in 2005. It is the only Welsh member of the research-intensive British universities of the Russell Group. 

Cardiff University provides more than 300 undergraduate and 200 postgraduate teaching courses for prospective students. Programs leading to degrees, certificates, and diplomas are among them. The three colleges, which include more than 15 academic schools and departments, offer university courses. Cardiff University offers a broad range of degrees, but it is known around the world for its programs in architecture, dentistry, civil engineering, business, and pharmaceutical sciences. 

Cathays Park and Heath Park are two sizable, cutting-edge campuses where Cardiff University is located. Cardiff University's campus is dispersed throughout a number of locations in the city, comprising the main campus in Cathays Park, where the university's academic and administrative structures, as well as a large number of its research centers and libraries, are located. 22 of the 26 academic schools are also located on the Cathays Park campus.

According to U.S. News & World Report, Cardiff University ranks 106 in Arts and Humanities, 298 in Chemistry, 179 in Clinical Medicine, 212 in Engineering, 373 in Computer Science, and 70 in Space Science. 

Employability Ranking

Within 15 months following graduation, 96% of Cardiff University graduates find full-time employment. According to QS Top Universities, Cardiff University is ranked #181 in the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2020.
