York University, situated in Toronto, Ontario, is a public research university also known as YorkU. It is the third-largest university in Canada, with approximately 55,700 enrollments, more than 325,000 alumni worldwide, and 7,000 staff and faculty. 

Students who are interested and qualified can apply to one of three levels, including 41 doctoral programs, 92 postgraduate diploma programs, and 178 undergraduate certificate programs. The courses are offered by all 11 of the university's faculties. Some of the most popular subjects offered here are economics, psychology, communications, education, fine arts, computer science, and computer engineering. 

Keele, Glendon, and Markham are the three sites in Ontario where York University has campuses. The institute's main location, Keele, is situated in Toronto's northern region. The Keele campus, which houses 46,000 undergraduates and 6,000 graduates, resembles an isolated town. In the heart of Southern Ontario, the institute's bilingual campus is called Glendon Campus. In fact, it is the only university campus in all of Canada that mandates that its students enroll in both English and French-language courses. In collaboration with Seneca College, the Markham Campus is located close to Highway 407 and is presently under construction.

According to QS Top Universities, York University ranks #101-150 in the QS WUR Ranking by Subject 2023. According to THE 2022 subject-wise ranking, York University ranks 50 in Arts and Humanities, 87 in Clinical, Pre-clinical and Health, 2511-300 in Engineering and Technology, 301-400 in Physical Sciences, 126-150 in Social Sciences, and 176-200 in Life Sciences.  

Employability Ranking

According to QS Top Universities, York University ranks #301-500 in the Graduate Employability Ranking 2022.
