SRH Hochschule Germany is one of the most popular research-based universities in the country. SRH Hochschule had its Berlin University of Applied Sciences set up in 2019 after the merger of SRH Hotel Akademie Dresden with SRH Hochschule Berlin. It set up a new campus in Hamburg in 2020. The university is subdivided into six schools spanning Hamburg, Berlin and Dresden. The university was founded in 2002 while English-taught programs arrived in 2006.

The SRH Hochschule fees are approximately 900 Euros or roughly INR 77-80,000 which is payable at the start of the course. Students will also have to pay a security deposit which is 50% of their semester fee after signing their contracts.

Required Exams

Many standardized examinations are a part of the SRH Hochschule requirements for admission. They include the following:

1. TOEFL (iBT)- A minimum score of 87.

2. TOEIC- A minimum score of 785.

3. IELTS- A minimum score of 6.5.

4. CAE- Grade A/B/C.

5. FCE- Grade A/B/C.

6. CPE- Grade A/B/C.

7. PTE Academic- A minimum score of 59 points.

8. Linguaskill- A minimum score of 176-184 (CES).

These are the requirements for SRH Hochschule admissions if you are getting admitted into a German language study program:

Scholarships

1. SRH Berlin Scholarship for International Students

Partial scholarships are given to financially backward first-year students.  They will require outstanding academic and creative performance along with entrepreneurial/social commitments, work samples and more.

2. Performance Scholarship

This is offered to meritorious students with high grades. They can get scholarships up to 50% on tuition fees for the first year. They should get a 7.0 in IELTS along with submitting their portfolio or letter of motivation.

3. Entrepreneurship Scholarship

This offers funding up to 50% of tuition fees in the first year. Students should be academically meritorious, score at least 6.5 in IELTS and offer a presentation of their skills and entrepreneurial concepts and ideas.

4. Women for Leadership Scholarship

This offers scholarship funding up to 50% of the tuition fees for the first year. Those applying should prove academic or educational performance while getting 6.5 in IELTS and submitting their letters of motivation.

5. Talent Scholarship

This scholarship is for students with exceptional talents in art, music, photography, design and creative writing. Applicants will require a letter of motivation, artistic work samples and a study offer copy.

6. Women in Sound Scholarship

This ensures funding up to 50% of the tuition fees for the first year, with applicants needing a copy of their study offer, portfolios and more.

There are numerous such scholarships like Future of Tech, Women in Tech, and of course, the Deutschlandstipendium that pays 300 Euros per month for a year (INR 25-26,000 approximately).
