The University of Arizona, situated in Tuscon, Arizona, is a land-grant public research university. It was the first university in the Arizona Territory, established in 1885 by the 13th Arizona Territorial Legislature.

The Park District, Historic District, Highland District, and North District are the four districts that make up the University of Arizona's campus. More than 37,000 students attend the UA Campus, coming from more than 50 states and nearly 112 different countries. 

The university provides about 500 graduate programs in addition to 300 undergraduate majors. There are more than 150 master's programs, 100 doctorate programs, and more than 60 graduate certificate programs. The programs are offered through 12 schools and 20 colleges. The Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Applied Science, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Fine Arts programs all offer undergraduate coursework. The graduate degrees MS, MAE, MAC, and MFA are all available.

Subject-Wise Ranking

According to QS Top Universities, the University of Arizona ranks #301-350 in the QS WUR Ranking by Subject 2023. According to U.S. News and World Report, the University of Arizona ranks 58 in Arts and Humanities, 247 in Biology and Biochemistry, 235 in Computer Science, 247 in Biology and Biochemistry, and 10 in Space Science.  

Employability Ranking

After completing their studies, 91% of the university's engineering graduates find employment, and the majority of graduate students land job offers or launch their own enterprises within six months. According to QS Top Universities, the University of Arizona ranks #171-180 in the Graduate Employability Ranking 2022.
